NFTY-SOCAL 678 Spring

Our final middle school event of the year, 678 Spring, is March 23, 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at American Jewish University. This day-long event captures the NFTY experience and tailors it for middle schoolers.

Geared toward new members, new friends, and community building, 678 Spring features interactive programs, mixers, Shira, dinner and Havdallah. Everything is teen-designed, teen-led, and developed in partnership with Temple Israel of Long Beach and the SOCAL 678 initiative.

Early Bird: $50
Register by March 3

Late Registration: $65
Register by March 10

This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 6th to 8th.


  • Registration is hosted by URJ Camp Newman. If you have attended a previous NFTY event or summer program at Camp Newman, you already have an account in our system.
  • Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and we cannot prorate registration.
  • A limited number of scholarship discounts are available for this event.
  • In need of scholarship? Please register first (we will not charge you until after we process your scholarship request) and then fill out the NFTY SOCAL scholarship application. All scholarships will go through this application process.  Any additional questions, please contact nftysocal@urj.org
